A ridosso di tre nazioni, Austria, Italia e Svizzera, Markus Reiser (GER) e Monika Büchi (SUI) hanno prevalso su tutti i loro inseguitori nella terza durissima tappa della European Enduro Series, lo scorso 26 luglio a Passo di Resia.

Markus Reiser del Team Focus sbaraglia il campo in questa avvincente tappa, seguito a ruota dallo svizzero Gustav Wildhaber e da suo fratello e compagno di Team Tobias Reiser, ma la loro squadra non si accontenta e conquista anche un quinto posto con il rientro di Fabi Scholz dopo la lunga assenza post-infortunio. “I sentieri ci hanno fatto proprio divertire, ma dobbiamo ammettere che è stata davvero una sfida all’ultimo respiro oggi!”, così dice il vincitore stremato a fine gara ma con un grande sorriso stampato in volto. Il divertimento non è stato solo nella classe Elite uomini ma anche tra le donne si respirava una gran gioia a soddisfazione al termine delle 6 tecnicissime prove speciali.

La svizzera Monika Büchi domina la categoria Elite donne e il Team Focus è nuovamente in podio con Lisa Policzka (GER) al secondo posto, seguita da Sandra Börner (GER) con un meritatissimo terzo.

Benedikt Purner (AUT) non cenna a mollare la prima posizione e si piazza nuovamente sul gradino più alto della categoria Master 30+ dato che si è trovato davvero bene sui durissimi percorsi di Reschenpass. Daniela Michel (SUI) vince invece la categoria Master Women, Kevin Madregger (AUT) quella Master Junior mentre purtroppo l’attuale leader della classifica assoluta Michal Prokop deve abbandonare la gara per la rottura della catena nella lunga ed estenuante ps2.

Molto bene anche gli italiani presenti a questa terza tappa della EES, partendo dalla categoria Elite troviamo un sempre più agguerrito Philip Walder all’undicesimo posto assoluto e Marco De Col che chiude in quattordicesima posizione, lui stesso dice che questa gara (durissima tecnicamente) rispecchiava molto le sue caratteristiche, segno che il suo livello sta crescendo sempre più.
Ma le sorprese non sono ancora finite perchè nella categoria Men Junior Simone Invernizzi si posiziona solidamente in seconda posizione dimostrando di essere in continua crescita, nella categoria Master 40+ Marco Dorigatti è quinto, in quella Men Amateur Nicola Zortea e Alessandro Fontana rispettivamente 4° e 5° e per quanto riguarda la categoria Master 50+ il podio si tinge interamente del tricolore nazionale con Carlo Zortea sul gradino più alto, Roberto Masciadri in seconda posizione e Giampiero Petris in terza, in questo modo Masciadri mette una seria ipoteca sul titolo a solo due tappe dal gran finale di Malaga!!

Da sottolineare come il numero di connazionali stia crescendo di gara in gara (ben 36 gli iscritti questa volta!), dimostrando che nonostante i timori iniziali nel confrontarsi con i riders stranieri la nostra compagine nazionale possa davvero emergere nel livello internazionale della EES e che la serie europea è davvero il gradino mancante tra i circuiti nazionali e la EWS, unico vero rimpianto la mancanza delle rappresentanti del gentil sesso, eppure di atlete forti ne abbiamo…
Passando dai trail mediterranei di Punta Ala ai terreni alpini di Sölden, questa volta la European Enduro Series si è fermata a Passo di Resia per mostrare dei percorsi di altissimo livello che hanno messo a dura prova le capacità tecniche e meccaniche di uomini e mezzi a ridosso di tre nazioni, Austria, Italia e Svizzera.
Sei le prove speciali per un totale di 53km di gara e oltre 3000mt di dislivello, con l’ausilio di 4 impianti di risalita su sentieri, flow, rocciosi, tempestati di radici, alte velocità e passaggi tecnicissimi, ma nonostante la grande fatica l’evento ha regalato a tutti un grande sorriso.
Il meteo favorevole ha avuto un grande ruolo nella perfetta riuscita dell’evento, i panorami mozzafiato e la vista sul lago di Resia hanno completato l’atmosfera, c’è da dire però che i riders impegnati nella gara non hanno avuto la possibilità di godersi tutto questo perchè i tenebrosi boschi che circondano il Passo di Resia hanno calato una cortina impenetrabile e hanno focalizzato l’attenzione solo sui durissimi tracciati.
La terza tappa della European Enduro Series di Passo di Resia ha davvero soddisfatto tutti, riders e spettatori regalando una prova spettacolare di altissimo livello tecnico, 255 i partenti e un podio completamente rinnovato, possiamo davvero dire che è stata una gara da record!
Ma ora godetevi questa pausa estiva per recuperare le energie in attesa della prossima interessantissima quinta tappa della EES 2015 di Molveno-Paganella, il 5 e 6 settembre.
