Gli amici di MTB-News.de hanno organizzato un incontro con gli addetti ai lavori tedeschi, fra cui Nicolai. Proprio su una Nicolai Geometron è comparsa una forcella lavorata al CNC che ci fa pensare ad un’azienda tutta italiana attiva nel mondo delle sospensioni, di cui è poi anche l’ammortizzatore Storia montato sulla Geometron: EXT.
Da tempo girano voci su una forcella da enduro del marchio vicentino.
Si tratta ovviamente di un prototipo da cui si può dedurre l’ambito di utilizzo enduristico e il diametro degli steli, probabilmente di 36mm.

Più probabile che Ext per ora ci stia mettendo l’idraulica, visto che si vedono le loro cartucce anche su altre forche
EXT USA (Suspension Syndicate in SLC, UT) emailed me about 10 days ago, offering pre-orders on the ERA, said it will be released very soon. Here's the info they were able to share with me. I hope I don't get anyone in trouble reposting it. The price is eye-watering, but less than what Trust wanted for their forks, or a bit more than a Lyrik + HC97 + ACS3 (~$1,584), or Fox 36 + Smashpot (~$1400), or Zeb + Runt (once available) + custom tune (~$1350). At least, that's how I justified it to myself. I've had a 36 GRIP2 for my last 2 forks and a 36 RC2 before that, and struggled to keep them riding high in travel while maintaining light and quick off the top sensitivity. I put a Luftkappe in all 3, but my setups seem to oscillate quickly between skipping over everything or stuffing on big a compression (talking within 5 psi and a few clicks).
The ERA fork will be 29er specific with boost spacing (110x15mm) and available in the following travel options;

[*]For the spring from what we understand at this point it will have a spring element that will be one size and is not need to be changed for rider weight. They are being very tight lipped about this and I have to be careful about what I say but this will not be like the conversion kits. Think more along the lines of a coil that is used only for a small part of the stroke.

Io ho acquistato lo storia e mi sono trovato benissimo come consegna e customer service; non pensavo che per la forcella sarebbe andata in questa maniera. Boh, avranno altri problemi di cui non siamo a conoscenza
