Today SRAM introduces a whole new lineup of 2 piston brakes. Dubbed “LEVEL” the new brakes’ levers are cut from the same cloth as the highly successful Guide brakes, and their platforms are stratified similarly.
Working from Level, to Level T, Level TL, Level TLM, and eventually up to Level Ultimate, each brakeset incrementally gets more high end…Just like Guides as you move up the range you start to pick up things like tool free reach adjustment, contact adjustment and eventually titanium hardware.
Monoblock construction and two 21mm pistons do the stopping at the caliper which utilizes “heat shield”, a temperature reducing technology in the caliper that helped set Guide ultimates apart from the standard Guide brakesets.
