Devinci has updated the Django, drawing inspiration from the design of Troy. The Canadian brand’s trail bike has been updated with numerous features and offers a 120mm of travel at the rear combined with a 140mm fork and 29-inch wheels. With the motto that says “Riding passions last a lifetime… now your bike does too”, Devinci now offers a lifetime warranty on the frame of the new Django.
The frame is available in carbon fiber or 6061-T6 aluminum alloy.
The suspension system is Split Pivot by Dave Weagle, which is the hallmark of the entire full suspension range from the Quebec brand.
As is customary for Devinci’s frames, the geometry can be modified using a flip chip that has been repositioned in to the lower shock mount to improve ease of adjustment with respect to the previous position on the linkage that drives the shock. The rear end also has a different length on sizes L and XL, to improve the balance of the rider on the bike.
Thanks to the use of SuperBoost 157mm hinges, the new Django offers space for tires up to 2.6 “wide.
The connecting rod rotates on bearings with a double row of balls and double shields to ensure better performance and longer life.
The down tube and the chainstay are protected by massive polyurethane protective guards.
The frame has a robust two-hole ISCG attachment for mounting a chain guide or bash guard.
The cable passage is internally routed in the frame.
Exiting the top tube the cable/hose are encased by a specific guide which is supported by the lower pivot of the rear shock.
The rear brake hose is supported by a dedicated clip, inserted in the hole of the main pivot.
The the seat post travel is specific to the size of the frame: 100mm for the XS, 125mm for the S, 150mm for the M and 175mm for the sizes L and XL.

Two colors are available for all four trims of the new Django with a carbon frame, while the aluminum Django has just one color available for both versions. Prices for the Euro zone are quite low compared to other North American brands with the same materials and components.
