Bell Helmets Introduces the Full 10 Downhill Helmet

[Press Release] – Today Bell announced the launch of its Full-10 Spherical helmet, which has raised the bar for full-face fit, protection, and style. Designed in collaboration with Bell’s deep roster of professional DH, slopestyle and BMX athletes, the Full-10 offers unmatched performance and industry-leading features such as Spherical TechnologyTM powered by Mips®, and an unmatched ventilation and sweat management system.

Improving on the venerable Full-9 meant leaning into the Bell’s testing Dome and bringing the latest developments in full face helmet protection forward. The Full-10 Spherical is a completely re-designed helmet that shares its DNA and design language with the groundbreaking Moto-10 Spherical off-road motorcycle helmet. With Bell’s proprietary Spherical TechnologyTM powered by Mips®, which redirects impact forces away from the brain, Full-10 was designed with the most progressive riders in mind. Ventilation and rider comfort are other rider-first features that take the Full- 10 Spherical a step further than the rest.

Riders are kept cool by the newly designed Thermal Exchange Airflow System (or T.E.A.S. for short) featuring 16 air intake vents and 5 huge heat outflow ports. The system draws cool air across the head, while expelling heat, to provide ample ventilation and superior sweat management.

“The Full-10 is the premier helmet for serious downhill riders,” said SJ Owen, Marketing Director at Bell. “An aggressive design and the latest in protection technology makes the Full-10 Spherical our most advanced full-face bicycle helmet ever created. With the help of our brightest engineers and best athletes, Bell has once again raised the bar in mountain bike helmet protection. We continue to carry on Roy Richter’s legacy as an innovator and boundary breaker with this new helmet.”

Available in four colorways, the Full-10 Spherical features a lightweight unidirectional carbon shell with an unmistakable carbon weave pattern. Weighing in at just 1000 grams (for size MD), the Full-10 is packed with other tech features such as an integrated breakaway camera mount, Ionic+TM antimicrobial comfort padding, MagnefusionTM removable cheek pads, a Panoramic Goggle Port and a titanium D-ring buckle.

The Full-10 is CPSC certified and was engineered to set the bar for full-face downhill helmets. It also boasts ASTM DH and BMX certification as well as complying with the new NTA e-bike certification.

Available online and at Bell authorized retailers globally in sizes XS through XXL , the Full-10 Spherical will retail for $650 this Spring .
