Bell just announced the addition of MIPS technology to all of their helmets moving into 2105. Recent findings have shown that current MTB helmets don’t manage rotational impacts as optimally as they could. Below is some info on how MIPS technology works to elevate MTB safety while ensuring better protection in terms of injuries cause by rotational acceleration.
In even bigger news, Bell just unveiled the Super 2R. A new helmet targeted at the enduro crowd which can adapt to be either a full face or a half lid quickly and easily.
The SUPER 2R adapts quickly between long climbing scenarios and long descents.
It will retail for $200, comes in 3 sizes and 5 colorways, plus fits goggles quite nicely.
