[Bike Check] Duncan Riffle’s Norco Revolver

[ad3] A few weeks back at Sea Otter we caught up with Duncan Riffle from SRAM and took a peek at his new Norco Revolver XC race whip. Because the new Sid wasn’t quite ready for public consumption at the time, we had to hold out on publishing this article. Now that the cat is out of the bag, here are the details on his steed.

Norco Revolver – 100mm travel front and rear.
The new SRAM Eagle XX1 drivetrain.  36 tooth front chainring.
Running it wide with a Truvativ Descendant riser bar. Dunc dog was a World Cup DH racer for years and old habits die hard. No 720mm bars for him.
170mm travel RockShox Reverb.
SRAM Rise 60 wheels with Torque Caps
HUGE spread on the rear cassette. 10-50 tooth offering 500%.
So much gold…The XX1 derailleur sees an update in it’s design with Eagle.
Stout headtube and a one piece carbon fiber crown/steerer on the SID
Fairly dialed looking internal routing from Norco.
The new Level Caliper.
FSR style linkage from Norco.
New 12 speed chain, new link.
Crank Brothers Candy 11’s with a gold titanium spindle. Baller pedals.
