R-Dog got some new wheels recently. His bike is quite fresh, but his truck…Not so much. If anything he seems more excited about the truck, but we wanted to grab some glamour shots of the bike before it starts to see some winter time abuse.
Very old 1987 Toyota 22R – Lots of miles…Runs pretty good!
Very new Trek Ticket S with custom paint.
The back end features a checkered, finish line flag scheme. As a Fasthouse athlete, R-Dog’s bike’s finish matches his sponsor’s aesthetic look quite nicely.
And we’re heading South. Off to the Watsonville Speedway…
To get from Aptos to the Speedway, you’re guaranteed to drive through Freedom, California.
Headed out on the glorious dirt track,
The perfect spot for a bike portrait.
If you can’t tell from the picture, we need rain badly in California. The dirt track surely gets some frequent watering though.
Custom top tube paint so R-Dog doesn’t lose his bike.
Full SRAM X01 DH 7-speed drivetrain to keep things tight and low profile. 32T chainring and 165mm cranks. Bontrager rims and tires rolling on SRAM X0 hubs and a Monarch rear shock out back.
Speed and Style. R-Dog in a nutshell.
Tyler McCaul’s signature Deity pedals.
More custom goodness.
Deity Pivotal seat and post.
Truvativ Descendant bar/stem. No Gyro, long cable for a barspin or two. A SRAM Guide Ultimate, and the push on Sensus Swayze grips round things out above the Pike DJ.
The Flowmaster himself.
Seeya!
