[Bike Check] Remy Absalon’s Scott Genius Plus

At Crankworx Whistler, Remy Absalon was running a bit of a unique setup. He chose to use the Scott’s new Genius Plus frame with 29″ wheels. After a post ride swim, we go over some of the details.

Full XTR drivetrain.
Michelin 29″ mud tires.
Marsh guard on his Suntour Auron.
External lower headset cup gets his front end up and slackens the head angle.
TONS of clearance.
Saint calipers.
Ergon saddle.
Ergon Grips. We’re currently testing some.
Twinloc.
Hope Hubs.
