[Bike Check] Mathias Flückinger’s Radon Jealous

It’s World Cup time for the cross country athletes this weekend in Nove Mesto. We paid a visit to the Radon Factory Team to take a look at Mathias Flükinger’s Radon Jealous.

Radon is a German company that sells directly online. The Jealous is their new cross country  full carbon 29er hardtail. You can check the complete lineup here.

Shimano XTR Di2 drivetrain.

No 2x chainring with Synchro Shift for Flückinger.

The Di2 remote, and the electronic lock out control for the fork.

Fox 32 SC fork.

Negative stem and the Di2 display.

Shimano pedals.

XTR brakes.

Schwalbe Thunder Burt tires on unmarked rims that Ralph Näf, Radon’s team manager, didn’t want to reveal.

We are not so sure Flückinger is going to race with this tires. They may be light, but also very easy to flat.

Esi Grips, very comfortable even without gloves.

No dropper post on the hardtail. The weight is a stunning 8.1 kg.
