Cannondale just announced two new e-bikes – the Moterra Neo Carbon and the Moterra Neo Carbon LT. The bikes features substantially steeper seat tube angles (~77º), in part aided by a reoriented motor location, and a slackened (~65º) head tube angle. The standard Neo has 150mm travel front and rear with 29″ wheels front and rear, although the size small has mixed wheels. The Neo LT features 170mm of front travel and 165mm rear, with a mixed 29″ front / 27.5″ rear setup. Both bikes features carbon fiber front ends with aluminum rear ends that utilize a four bar / Horst link suspension layout. Both Neo and Neo LT are assisted by Bosch motors. We’ll be testing the Moterra Neo Carbon 1 in the near future, so stay tuned for more info…
