Commencal has a new enduro bike to show off – the Meta SX, in a Mullet wheel version. The geometry and kinematics have been completely revised, while the frame material remains aluminum. The travel is 160mm at the rear and 170mm at the front.
Commencal says it has improved the stiffness of the rear with stronger bearings.
They also equipped the frame with a flip chip, positioned at the shock absorber attachment, to be able to quickly alter the geometry.
Since this is an aluminum frame, they have tried to reduce the aesthetic impact of the welds as much as possible without reducing the frame’s strength.
The cable routing is internal and easily accessible from the down tube.
