First seen at the Finale Ligure EWS race under Cecile Ravanel, Commencal is now making the stealth black Meta AM V4.2 available. The bike comes fitted with Fox suspension and a great spec for the price. Details below…
Although the name World Cup does not exactly reflect the circuit where we saw the bike dominate last year, this version of the Meta V4.2 features a reproduction of the frame that Cecile Ravanel piloted to the EWS overall winner. It can be purchased for € 4,499 directly from Commençal.
Commençal emphasizes that the anodized finish has two advantages for the frame. First of all it makes it lighter, given the lack of the weight of the paint which, contrary to popular belief, significantly affects the weight of the frame.
Second, it makes the finish itself more robust and resistant to scratches and avoids the unpleasant, unsightly chipping of the paint that spoil the overall appearance of a frame over time.
