Cruzfest was the first stop of the FEST series. Held in a secret location in Santa Cruz, the best Freeriders came to ride. The main people behind the event were Kyle Jameson and Jeff Herb. They made it all happen and put all huge amount of effort and energy into the event. It was a crazy week of sessioning and having fun with all our friends. FEST series means there is no pressure from anyone, there is no judges, no event organisers, no time schedule, just the media crews, the riders and the riding happens when the conditions are perfect and when the vibe is right. The camera crews, with filmers and photographers are always there ready to shot.
This year the jumps were huge and were perfectly built by Tyler Bereman and Arik Swan. Who spent loads of times seasoning them on their motos… all day long. During the weekend the craziest trains went down, with the motos getting involved too, following the bikes.
Nick Pescetto was there to ride and when he wasn’t riding he got his cameras out and got clips of his friends shredding the course.
This event was a favourite for a lot of riders and we cant wait to go back there next year.
Thanks a lot to the FEST series for keeping Freeride alive and for taking care of the riders.
