We are back in full swing with the UCI DH World Cup on the Les Gets track which today hosted the timed tests of the second round of the circuit. An entirely updated track with particularly technical sections, old school-style, steep and full of off cambers, with some points that are putting even the top riders in difficult situations. The track is still wet from the rain of recent days and alternates between dry parts and particularly slippery sections due to the mud.
Troy Brosnan, winner of both qualifying and finals of the first stage in Leogang, set the fastest time in timed practice, followed by Bernard Kerr and Greg Minnaar. Among the women, Nina Hoffmann, who returned from injury, was the fastest woman, followed by Valentina Höll and Camille Balanche. Veronika Widmann and Eleonora Farina finished seventh and eighth respectively.
