Enduro World Series Finale Ligure Randoms Day 2

[ad3]

Finale Ligure day 2 in the pits, a bit more going on today, however a noticeable absence of big names out and about in public areas, again all riders were on the hill. Even later in the day only a few riders were back, a different feeling compared to the DH world cup, with EWS having less interaction with the public. Anyway we spotted a few really cool bits which we can check out below.

This was the story of the day, empty tents.

SRAM probably supply the most entertainment as they work their way through at least 5 liters of fork oil and ice cream.

Jack is here, with his school and representing Bergamont.

We snuck into SRAM’s truck had a quick look round.

Nico Lau in-between stages for practice.

Nico Vouilloz’s race bike, notice the prototype tyres and other cool parts, including an Eagle drivetrain.

Chris Ball, the main man of the Enduro World Series.

It seemed all the Japanese Shimano guys were here being VERY attentive to what was happening with their products.

The Syndicate parked somewhere else today, keeping it low profile.

Finale was bathed in sunshine today, but rain is predicted for tomorrow.

Gamby was on form, enjoying the trails in Finale.

Cecil’s bike is interesting.

A Black Box Vivid coil with a remote for lock-out.

Cecil already has the mark of being a champion on her frame.

Cecil is using Eagle as well.

Hope are here with their custom bike.

Bruno Zanchi was on hand to teach the younger riders how to go fast.

Marco Milivinti stopped by the suspension tuning truck to get some info and give feedback on the fork performance.

All the important people from Ohlins and Andreani were present.

SRAM was helping riders all day.

In the back ground is a memorial to the fallen this year.

The pits area is now filled up with people, stands and noise.

In theory this could be used in a car engine…

Nico Lau’s ride this weekend, dont drop the bike for the photo…

Nico uses a 2×11 drivetrain.

The rear derailleur is a modified version that does not go into safety mode.

Jerome Clementz is using a coil sprung BlackBox rear shock with a remote lockout as well…

Finale is a stunning location.

The Syndicate is hanging out on their own program in the Fox pits.

Commencal have this good looking rear link going on.

Ingrid after one season, still going strong.

Formula’s OTTO….

Last but not least, if you need to charge your phone head to the Alpinestars tent.
