In its second season, the European Enduro Series 2015 will host its season opener on April 25/26, 2015 in sunny Punta Ala (ITA). The highly versatile and demanding natural Enduro trails along the stunning coastline of Tuscany will once again welcome the best shredders the continent has to offer.
After a successful inaugural season in 2014, the EES 2015 is back to start the season with the first of many spectacular tour destinations: Punta Ala, Italy. “This place is just beautiful and a great start for the 2015 series”, says the national organizer of the stop, Thomas Andrew Daddi. “The tracks of the ´Bandite Trail Area´ have it all: very tough and technical parts, sections with loads of flow, as well as some sneaky uphill pedaling sections”, he underlines the great variety of this 100% natural Enduro venue. Of course, well known ´Rock Oh´ is part of it all also, which rounds up the profile of this top-notch European moutainbiking location.
Punta Ala, part of the small town of Castiglione della Pescaia, is located in Tuscany, Italy, next to the island of Elba. With its charming sunny weather and its beautiful coastlines, it offers both riders and visitors more than shredding to look forward to.
The first season stop in Punta Ala, just like all other destinations of the series, will be a 2-day event containing a mandatory inspection of the run for all participants on the first day and featuring the competition on the second. All races of the EES will be subject to a series-customized rule book with the UCI regulations as the highest instance above it. Next to licensed riders, amateurs are also welcome to be part of the maximum line-up of 350 riders per venue. On top of the Elite Classes for men and women, a Junior, Masters 30+, Masters 40+, and Masters 50+ class is added.
The EES is not just a race format for known pros such as last year´s Punta Ala champion Denny Lupato (ITA) or female local matador Laura Rossin (ITA): “All riders who want to compete with the best, yet do not have a big team or sponsor behind them to travel across the globe at high costs will find this series very appealing”, says EES 2015 organizer Grogger of the Austrian based company Trail Solutions. It is the long needed missing link between the national competitions and the Enduro World Series in European Enduro mountain biking.

Where to stay
The best place to stay for all shredders, family, and friends is the Punt Ala Camping Resort in Castiglione della Pescaia. With the prologue, start, and finish of the race right next to the resort and its great location along the beach, it is the perfect place to enjoy the action from.
