Lapierre has recently unveiled the new XR cross country/marathon bike. Utilizing a Boost hub standard and an OST+ link that is driven by an E:i electronically activated shock, the XR is all about efficiency, response and control.
Gone are the flexible carbon fiber chainstays of last year’s version, with Lapierre firmly moving towards the Horst link setup based on their OST+ system. The head angle has been opened a little to provide slightly smoother descending characteristics.
The XR now also offers Lapierre’s new telescopic seat post with internal cable routing.
