[First Look] Mondraker Foxy C XR 2016

In April 2014 Mondraker showed us their first carbon frame ever: the Foxy Carbon. We had a first ride around their HQ in Alicante and we liked that bike a lot. A good reason to ask for a long termer, that arrived two weeks ago. Before using it properly on the trails, we’d like to present you the Foxy Carbon 2016 XR in all its beauty.

Stealth carbon and top components bring the weight down to 12,1 kg (size M).

Fox Float DPS Evol LV shock for the 140mm rear travel, mud guard included.

Forward Geometry is a Mondraker trademark. The stem is a Stoic FG30 produced by OnOff, owned by Mondraker.

Stoic Carbon 780mm and 12mm rise bar.

SRAM Guide RSC brakes.

Centerline 180mm rotors, both front and rear.

Custom Post Mount rear brake adapter.

Maxxis High Roller II EXO 2.30 front and Ardent EXO 2.40 rear, tubeless ready. We took away the tubes as soon as we received the bike, the rims where already taped.

DT Swiss XM 1501 Spline One wheels.

SDG Circuit MTN saddle.

We put the Cageless bottle by Fabric on the Foxy.
