[Gallery] Crankworx Dual Slalom

[ad3]

Per usual, Dual Slalom was a blast to watch this year at Whistler Crankworx. Tight racing and ripping riders kept spectators glued. In the men’s category little known rider Dakota Norton took the win and surprised everyone, while in the women’s, no one was surprised hardly anyone was shocked that Jill Kintner took the top step.

High speed berm railing. That’s what it’s all about.

Nice to see DH riders showing up. The Giant Factory off road team raced slalom and had decent showings.
Brian Lopes still has it.
Bas Van Steenbergen was crushing it as well. Such a powerful rider.
Dan Atherton – eyes on the prize.
Nice to see BMX crossover Mike Day out shredding.

Kyle Strait putting the power down.
Most photos of Jill looked like this. Focused and way ahead.
Connor Fearon is a crowd favorite. Absolutely electrifying to watch.
Connor took down Lopes…
…And Connor would eventually get nipped by Bas.
Kyle Strait. Synonymous with DS. Especially here stateside.
Kyle would eventually get eliminated by Dakotah
Martin Maes was absolutely warping.
Tracy Hanna had a great showing.
Bernard and Bas. Head to head.
Jill – in a league of her own.
Martin Maes would eventually go up against Dakotah but had an unfortunately crash.

In the end Jill would take down Anneke Beerten and go on to take the win.
Smiling winners.
