Leogang is starting off looking perfect in terms of conditions…The riders are looking a bit wild and the top 10 in timed training is a refreshing bunch of riders. No surprise that Marcelo Gutierrez is looking strong on the bike park style track, but cool to see the likes of Brendog, Needles and Connor Fearon up there as well as you generally wouldn’t expect them to be slaying it on a track like that. Perhaps their training is paying off. Also great to see Stevie Smith in 8th and showing he’s found his speed. In the women’s, Rachel had the fastest time and showed hints of coming back to dominating and being the one to chase, while the other usual suspects rounded out the top 5 with Tahnee Seagrave sneaking in right after a great finish at Fort William. In Juniors, Alex Marin showed speed and rolled into first with Andrew Crimmins representing from down under. Anyhow, enjoy the gallery under the results.
