How fast can you change a rear wheel?

Have you ever wondered if you would be as fast as the mechanics working at the UCI Cross Country World Cup? When an athlete arrives at the tech zone with a flat tire, it’s the mechanic the one who has to be as fast as possible changing the wheel and letting the rider be back in the race.

Our challenge: show how fast you are. The rules are easy:

  1. the chain must not be on the smallest cog.
  2. The bike must be on the ground (not on a stand).

Film yourself during the wheel change, then post the video wherever you want, tag it with #mtbwheelchange and link it in the comments here below until January 31st, 2018. The three fastest times will be featured on our website and on our social channels.
