Intense Introduces the 2021 Primer

Intense just announced the new Primer lineup for 2021, with a series of new trim levels including the top of the line offering featuring Öhlins suspension.

With 140mm of rear travel, 150mm of front travel and moderately aggressive, flip-chip adjustable geometry, the Primer embodies the ultimate all-mountain bike – both versatile and fun.

The Primer is available with both 29″ wheel size and 27.5″ wheels, with a specific frame for each version but with the same front and rear travel, regardless of the wheel size.

The suspension system is the traditional Intense JS Tuned VPP layout, optimized to provide good pedaling support and progressivity at the end of the stroke.

The frame is made from carbon fiber, including the upper link of the suspension system, and the hardware is made of titanium.

Sturdy rubber protectors keep the frame safe while the threaded bottom bracket shell has an ISCG attachment for any chain guide and / or bumper.

The cables are routed inside the frame and guided to facilitate easy maintenance and avoid noise. The position of the shock allows enough space to place a bottle cage.

The Intense Primer is available in 3 different versions, each available in both 29″ and 27.5″ versions, in addition to the frame, also in this case optionally available as 29″ or 27.5″, in two colors for the standard one and in red for the one mounted with Öhlins shock absorber.
