Salsa’s Bucksaw made some waves recently as it’s one of the first fatbikes that’s utiliizing Dave Weagle’s Split Pivot suspension. 100mm front and back, with a Rock Shox Bluto fork up front and a Rock Shox Monarch RT3 out back
The Frame is built from 6066 Aluminum but uses high modulus Carbon Fiber in it’s seat stays.
The Bucksaw 1 is offered at a 4,999 price tag with SRAM X01. The Bucksaw 2 comes in at a $3,999 pricepoint with a SRAM X5/X9 packaged 2X10 build.
Surly rims and tires laced on Salsa hubs grace both bikes, as do Avid guide brakes and a Rock Shox Reverb stealth dropper post.
