Introducing the Santa Cruz Hightower

[ad3]

Santa Cruz just presented the successor of the Tallboy LT: The Hightower. The carbon frame is not simply a 29″ wheeled bike, but also a 27.5″ Plus, with the ability to adjust the height of the BB via a flipchip in the upper swing link.

The rear travel is set at 135mm and the front end is intended to utilize either 140mm or 150mm. The flip chip is meant to provide adjustability and helps to compensate for varying fork heights.

The transformation between the two different wheel formats is possible because of the Boost 148 spacing out back and its inherent massive tire clearance, as well as Boost 110 fork spacing and the various parts required.

Geometry is relatively modern, with shorter chainstays made possible by the updated positioning of the VPP system, which has also been utilized by the latest iterations of the Bronson and Nomad. The head tube angle is rather slack 67.

Available in carbon C and CC. The C is not available as a frame only option. The two colors are red or black.

Prices

Telaio CC: 3.499 Euro
Version C kit S AM: 4.999 Euro (both 29″ and 27,5″)
Version CC kit X01: 6.799 Euro
