IZZO: The All New Trail Bike From YT

YT just broadened their range with a new 130mm travel trail bike sporting 29-inch wheels. Fast, agile and sharp like the blade of a katana, the sword of Japanese samurai … this is the claim with which the German brand presents their news to the public in this anime video.

A carbon frame, aggressive geometry but not too much for a classic all-rounder bike, the Izzo is able to satisfy a wide range of preferences both for riders and intended usage.

The 130mm travel fork is combined with the same travel for the rear suspension, a traditional four bar with horst joint and a shock absorber placed vertically, which leaves plenty of space for the bottle cage.

The weight is rather low since it starts from the 12kg for the top of the line version, and up to 13,2kg for the cheaper version and this detail, as well as the geometry and the travel, reveal how YT wants to occupy the trail segment with the IZZO filling the void in their line left by the increase in travel and weight of the last update of the JEFFSY.
