Leatt introduces the DBX 3.0 All Mountain Helmet

[ad3]

Leatt is now unveiling its new all-mountain helmet, the DBX 3.0. This helmet integrates 360º Turbine Technology and Armourgel, which help reduce the risk of cerebral concussion and the rotational acceleration of the head and brain. the DBX 3.0 has 18 ventilation openings.

Basically the turbines are spread out throughout the inside of the shell of the helmet and are in contact with the head. They are made of a material called Armourgel that absorbs vertical and rotational impacts and act like a buffer between your head and the helmet’s shell.

Leatt declares that this technology allows to reduce impacts can cause cerebral concussion by 30%, and 40% of the rotational acceleration to the head and brain. Turbine technology should also improve the security of multiple impacts in one crash.

The armourgel is a soft material which is therefore well adapted to the shape of the body, but hardens upon impact and absorbs energy.

The helmet weighs 375 +/- 50g and comes in three sizes: S (51-55 cm), M (55-59 cm); L (59-63 cm).
