[Press Release] – Liv, the company dedicated to getting more women on bikes, today introduced the Lurra series, its new ALUXX SL-Grade aluminum hardtail mountain bike. Built for performance-minded trail riders who want to hammer singletrack climbs and make quick work of fast, flowy descents, the Lurra offers dedicated frame geometry for 27.5-inch wheels in frame sizes XS and S, and 29-inch wheels for frame sizes S, M and L.
“The Lurra was designed for riders who prefer the hard charging speed and simplicity of a hardtail but want some of the plush features a dual-suspension mountain bike offers” – Ludi Scholz, Liv Global Off-Road Category Manager.
Riders interested in performance are going to find this bike to be versatile, fun and playful on the trail thanks to its progressive geometry, and its specifications offering tremendous value for the price.
Made to Climb
The Lurra’s lightweight aluminum frame features a steep seat tube angle designed to optimize rider input for greater efficiency and speed on climbs and in the flats. A 66-degree head tube angle and 438mm chainstays contribute to a stable but playful ride experience.
Confidence Inspiring
With 130mm of front suspension and a dropper seatpost, the Lurra makes it easy to navigate obstacles and technical singletrack terrain. The Lurra also comes tubeless ready, giving riders the ability to run lower tire pressure for added traction and control on roots, rocks and ruts.
Adventure Ready
The Lurra was made for adventurous days in the saddle. It comes equipped with mounts for two water bottle cages and additional mounts on the underside of the top tube allow riders to add a small gear bag for stowing tools. The bike also features internal cable routing that keeps cables tidy and protected from the elements.
