If you were into mountain biking back in the days you will for sure remember the Marzocchi (or Bomber) girls. It feels like a century ago, when the Italian company produced reliable and iconic forks like the Z1 or the Monster, when the Froriders were in every freeride movie and when ads and calendars with half naked women were considered to be ok in the mountain bike industry.
During fall 2003 Marzocchi collected their best photos from previous shootings with the Bomber girls and published a calendar of 15(!) months, that went from November 2003 to January 2005. Eight women, from top model Allison Mairesonne to pornostar Jenna Jameson, without forgetting some Playboy Bunnies, soon hanged on the walls of every proper man’s cave around the globe.
So let’s check it.
