Mondraker moves into the US Market

Mondraker is proud to announce its new adventure in the USA by the hand of QARV Imports, who will be the exclusive distributor of the brand.

“At QARV we don’t sell anything that we don’t ride ourselves,” offers QARV founder and president Kervin Quinones. “While there’s been a vacancy in the brands that we offer, without having a frame brand, we needed the right product and people behind the brand for us to want to bring them on board and that’s what we found with Mondraker.”
Mondraker is best known for its Forward Geometry concept, and was the first brand to push the limits toward a frame geometry-approach that is now viewed as standard for modern trail-bikes.

By lengthening the front centers and dramatically shortening stems, Mondraker turned heads in 2012 with its Dune XR and Foxy XR models and their groundbreaking 10mm stem lengths.

“BRINGING OUR BIKES TO THE USA IS A BIG STEP FOR OUR BRAND AND WE’RE GLAD TO BE DOING IT WITH THE SUPPORT OF QARV. IT TAKES A LOT OF WORK TO MAKE THE STARS ALIGN JUST RIGHT AND GET SUCCESS IN OUR MARKET AND I BELIEVE THAT WE HAVE ALL OF THE RIGHT PEOPLE INVOLVED TO CREATE THAT SUCCESS IN THE USA.”   MIGUEL PINA, MONDRAKER CEO

“We are very proud that our approach to the mountain bike geometry standard has been followed by nearly every brand today, but we’re also proud of our other proprietary technologies like the Stealth Air carbon layup process and the superb Zero Suspension System used on all our full suspension models.”

QARV is retaining fellow Colorado-brand Uncommon Communications to handle media relations for Mondraker in North America.

QARV’s initial push for the USA will be attendingconsumer demos following Interbike and having product available at dealers in November. To demo a Mondraker Dune, Foxy, Factor, Podium, and many others, riders should attend the Vail Outlier Offroad Festival, Outerbike, Pisgah Mountain Bike Festival, or Outdoor Demo East.
