Mavic just to announced their all-new Crossmax SL mountain bike wheels.
Designed for elite cross-country riding and racing, the Crossmax SL wheels are up to 100 grams lighter than previous top of the range XC wheels, thanks to Mavic’s exclusive ISM 4D machining process and a new alloy rim shape.
Mavic has utilized a new finishing process called 4D. The milling is less squared off and has a smoother rounder look. This saves weight while adding to strength and stiffness.
Weights are as follows :
26″ – 1390 Grams
27.5″ – 1470 Grams
29″ – 1520 Grams
Availability is planned for September 2014, and MSRP is 950 Euros.
