New Enve Carbon Fork

[Press release] Until now, ENVE’s fork lineup has consisted of Cyclocross and Road forks only. The new Mountain Fork embodies all of ENVE’s fork technologies as well as a host of new technical features making it the most customizable rigid mountain fork on the market.

To start, the fork features ENVE’s unique carbon fiber brake line clasp which secures your brake lines to the fork without the added complications of internal routing or extra hardware. If you will be using the fork in wet or muddy conditions, ENVE have produced a molded carbon fender that is easily interchanged with the individual brake line clasps. The fender adds minimal weight to the system and provides just enough protection to reduce the amount of mud and water that ends up on your face.

Another notable feature is that ENVE have provided a clever axle chip system that allows the rider to fine tune the ride and handling characteristics to match the geometry of their bike by simply flipping the chips 180 degrees. In one position you can opt for a 44mm rake and 470mm axle to crown measurement. In the other, you can have a 52mm rake and 472mm axle to crown. These features combined with the forks suspension corrected geometry make it best suited for the aftermarket.

All ENVE forks feature a unique manufacturing process wherein continuous fibers run from the top of the steerer tube all the way down to the bottom of the dropouts. Accompanying this true one-piece design is a fully removable bladder system which removes excess weight and ensures a more consistent fiber placement within the fork laminate.

ENVE Marketing Manager Jake Pantone states, “Often the best solution to a problem is the simplest one. Despite the evolution of suspension technology over the past ten years, rigid mountain forks still provide the optimal platform for many of the off-road riding and racing formats that riders participate in. For this reason, a mountain fork has been one of the most highly requested products from ENVE over the past 7 years.”

ENVE’s new Mountain Fork is now shipping to ENVE’s retail and distribution partners worldwide.
