During the Albstadt World Cup venue we published some shots of the new Focus XC bike. Now we have all details. It’s a full carbon front suspended bike, available both in 29″ and 27.5″. There is also a full rigid version. The bike has been developed together with the Focus XC Team.
Frame weight in size Medium is 885 grams.
74.5° seat angle.
435mm chainstays for the 29″, 425mm for the 27.5″.
The name “Max” comes from the carbon layup technology used by Focus for this frame. The CPX seatpost has been developed to bring some comfort to the rider.
No paint job on the top-of-the-line frames, in order to save some weight.
Internal cable routing, also for the dropper post.
69.8° head angle for the 29er, 69.5° for the 27.5″.
Available in eight 29er and in four 27.5″ builds, with a women specific one.
RAT (Rapid Axle Technology) 12mm rear axle: it uses a design that only requires a 90 degree rotation of the axle in the dropout before the lever is closed or opened.
Full rigid Raven Max
Already race proven: Florian Vogel finished 4th yesterday on the new Reven Max in Albstadt.
