[Press release] We’re pleased to announce the launch of our new OneUp Components 16T Sprocket. The 16T provides a more even cassette progression for smoother cadence and improved shifting when using our 40/42T sprockets.
The 16T will be included for free with all new orders of our 40T ($90) and 42T($100) sprockets, both still with free shipping worldwide. We will also soon be selling the 16T sprocket separately for $15, excluding shipping.
To install, remove both your 15T and 17T sprockets and replace them with the new 16T. As with our 40T and 42T sprockets the 16T has been specifically designed to work with both Sram and Shimano cassettes and has alternative clocking positions for both. The 16T weighs in at 18g and is machined from chrome plated hardened steel.
OneUp Components were the first to bring a 42t sprocket to the masses, the first to offer a 40T for Saint and Zee and now the first to include a 16T for free with all 40/42T’s.
