Polygon presents the Siskiu T

Polygon just presented the new Siskiu T. It’s a simple all mountain, aluminum bike with clean lines, fitted with competitive components that balance performance and value nicely. We’ll take a closer look at the specs and details below.

The Siskiu T is available in either 27.5 “or 29-inch version, but not in all sizes. The wheel diameter is matched prioritizing the size of the rider, maintaining the proportions with the wheel size.

Size S will only be available with 27.5 “wheels, L and XL sizes will only benefit from 29” wheels, while the size M is the only one to offer the choice between both wheel sizes.

The version with 27.5 “wheels offers 150mm travel on both front and rear suspension, while for the 29” version the fork and shock travel is 140mm.

The suspension is called FAUX –  it’s a single pivot, with an uninterrupted chainstay that drives a rate modifying linkage. Both the linkage and main pivot roll on angular bearings to increase stiffness and bearing life.

For the sake of stiffness, but of course also to keep up with current standards, both hubs are in Boost format, 148mm at the rear and 110mm in the front.

The head tube uses internal cups. The shifting cable and dropper post run internally, while for the sake of easy bleeding, the rear brake hose are externally routed.

The wheels are Tubeless Ready. They are supplied with tubes, but just insert a UST valve and sealant to swap to a Tubeless system, as the rims are already compatible, as well as the tires.

Polygon is spec’ing 32 tooth, narrow / wide chainrings, regardless of the wheel diameter, combined with XT transmissions. 11 speeds for the flagship model and 10 speeds for the entry level bike.
