Production Privée is showing off a special, limited edition colorway of their full suspension bike, the Shan No. 5, in a tribute to Steve McQueen’s Porsche 917 GT1 in the 1971 film Le Mans.
In the past, the Andorran brand had already created a few special editions of the Shan. Now it’s Shan No. 5 that will be produced, with this color scheme, and exclusively in 58 numbered pieces.
Being a tribute to a racing car, the Shan n ° 5 917 GT1 as a complete bike version is fitted with ready-to-race components, from Cane Creek suspension to SRAM Eagle transmission etc. The price for the complete bike is €3,699.
The Rolling Chassis set-up, worth € 2,999, includes suspension, the Flow No-Tubes wheels, the Production Privée cockpit, the Revive Yoke telescopic and the SDG saddle.
Obviously, the standalone frame is available, at a price of €1,299.
The delivery of the limited edition of Shan No. 5 will start at the end of April. Anyone wishing to order the frame or set-up before the 20th of April will benefit from a discount.
