[Racing] Lenzerheide Qualifying

[ad3]
Loic Bruni qualifies fastest while Gwin, Fearon and Ratty round out the top 4 all within the same second…Could we see sub 3 minute race times tomorrow? Most likely. In the Women’s, Emmeline Ragot(fastest in timed training) sits two seconds ahead of Rachel Atherton…Is Rachel just saving it for finals? Or is the Brit just not fond of the loose dusty track that’s claiming so many victims. In men’s juniors, Laurie Greenland took the stop spot while Andrew Crimmins slipped into 19th. We’re assuming he suffered a crash and he’ll likely still be a contender tomorrow. Congrats to our buddy Luca Cometti for a qualifying 34th in the big leagues – his best result yet. We’re hoping to see him up there tomorrow as well.

Full results after the photo gallery from.

Aaron Gwin is all smiles. We think he probably took his qualifier easy. Could the savage american repeat Windham 2012 and win on 4th of July weekend?

The man to beat.
Gee will be looking for extra seconds tomorrow.

Loic Bruni : first in qualifying. Could tomorrow be his first big win?

Sam’s shoulder isn’t quite ready but that’s nothing some tape cant fix!
Andrew Crimmins qualified a ways back. Huge crash, broken elbow we hear. Bummer.

Gotta beat the heat somehow.

Remi Thirion. Always one to watch.
Good to see Steveie Smith back up there
Connor Fearon. Fractions off of Gwin’s qualifying time. The aussie is comfortable in loose, dry and fast conditions. Can he back up his second place finish from Leogang?
Classic Sam Hill. Always carrying incredible form.
And again.
Ratboy seems to be consistently finding his speed again after his foot injury has finally seemed to subside. 4th in qulies
Never count this man out.

Danny Hart at the limit! Always…

Why thank you.
Andrew Crimmins – insane form…hopefully he recovers quickly.
Emmeline Ragot : Fastest qualifier. She’ll be forcing Rachel to step up her game on this track for sure.

Rachel Aterthon – is she holding some back for tomorrow?

Manon Carpenter is coming back to form after a massive crash in Scotland.
Sam Hill! As if he never left.
Mining lens flares with Brook McDonald.
TB – perfect form, but we know he can do better than than 7th tomorrow.
Brandon Fairclough crashed again in qualies. We’re hoping he’s up and running ASAP.
Danny Hart – 12th in qualies and creeping back up there after a nasty crash at Ft. William.
Big Ben keeping the Scott / GStaad team rolling
Neko Mullaly is chillin. Maybe the American will uncork one on the 4th of July.
Brendog was looking strong but just couldn’t hold it together.
Wyn TV going down
Lots of interviews for Loic. All eyes on the fastest qualifier.

We think Troy might be sneaking into the top 5 tomorrow to best his 7th place qualie today.
Laurie Greenland #1 Junior Men’s qualifier. Tomorrow could be a big one for him.

Rachel Atherton – we think she’ll be going all out tomorrow…
Hopefully we don’t see too many of these tomorrow.

This guy will have the most pressure on him tomorrow. Time will tell. We think it’s going to be a good one.
