[Racing] MSA Qualifying Gallery, Results & Video

So, apparently, the rain came down on the men in qualifying, but the women and men’s juniors got a nice clean run. We don’t know why yet, but Gwin DNF’d. Two aussies in the top 5 in the mud. Not bad since they’re from the dustiest, flattest place on earth. Troy way up by 3 seconds. Riders are loving the track. Enjoy the video from Red Bull with some sick footage from yesterday’s practice.

Troy Brsonan is the man to beat tomorrow. The Aussie smashed it and reminded everyone of his true potential today despite the conditions.
Bas van Steenbergen missed out on qualifying – on to the next round. Windham is next weekend and he will try again to prove his mettle.
Aaron Gwin all smiles here, but likely not stoked about qualifying. He had a crash early on and DNF’d. Tomorrow the pressure is on.
Josh- Ratboy Bryceland…4th in qualies. Probably quite at home in these conditions. More in the tank for tomorrow? Either way, it’s nice to see him back up to speed.
Marcelo Gutierrez had the fastest time yesterday and 3rd today in qualification today. It’s only a matter of time til he wins one.
Danny Hart had a good showing. Surely loving the sloppy conditions, he was un phased and cruised into second.
Another top 5 rider who is well past due. Connor Fearon is on a freaking tear lately. Connor, Marcelo, Danny. All in the top 5 in qualies but have yet to win a world cup. They’re all due and deserving.
Another one…Loic Bruni was back in 16th but he is another force to be reckoned with.
Emmeline nipping at Rachel’s heels.
Tracey Hannah sitting a ways back in 8th. We’ll see if she steps it up tomorrow…
Rachel has basically been untouchable this year. Period.
Manon was a full 11 seconds back despite riding in favorable conditions for her. Can she narrow the gap tomorrow? Time will tell.

Brendan and Neko talk lines.

Jacob Dickson fastest junior qualifier. Keep in mind. Andrew Crimmins was JUST shy, with a crash.

Scary.
Rachel on a warpath.
Pompom holding it down for the team. Word has it that Remi Thirion has broken his ankle. We’re gutted. Heal up quick and get back to blowing our minds Remi! We love watching you race!

It was muddy. Where is the pressure washer.
Dougie Fresh!!!
Anyone’s guess tomorrow.

Brendog won practice today. If you don’t know, you need to spend more time on the internet. SAVAGE! Come on dog – get on the box!

All eyes on Troy tomorrow.
