Renthal Fatbar goes wider, lighter and now in black

Renthal just announced that they’re now offering their iconic Fatbar in black anodized finish. There’s more to the story though…The handlebar lineup sees more than just the simple addition of a new color. Both the Fatbar and Fatbar Lite have been re-tailored to lose weight and go wider. The standard 31.8mm version broadens from 780mm to a full 800mm while the lite version goes from 740mm to 760mm. The 35mm line remains unchanged structurally, but also sees the addition of the black anodized color option. Full details in the press release below…

Fatbar, Version 2

The second version of the Fatbar has undergone a full structural re-design. In keeping with the demand for wider, gravity oriented handlebars, we have increased the width to 800mm.  Our proven high grade 7050 T6 aluminium and variable gauge taperwall tubing is the key ingredient of the Fatbar. With careful and efficient use of material, we have massively reduced the weight to a trail-worthy 315g. At the same time performance levels retain the same legendary strength and durability and match the stiffness of the original Fatbar.

The new Fatbar is available in our market leading choice rise options; 10, 20 30 and 40mm. And we have now added a colour option; either the iconic Renthal AluGold hard anodised or the all new black hard anodised finish.

MSRP – £69.95 / $84.95

Fatbar Lite, Version 2

The ever popular Fatbar Lite has been given some structural tweaks to bring it bang up to date with the increased width at 760mm. With efficient use of high grade 7050 T6 aluminium, we have kept the same market leading weight of 270g. The new Fatbar Lite achieves all of this whilst retaining the same high level of strength and durability and matching the stiffness of the original Fatbar Lite.

The new Fatbar is available in our market leading choice rise options; 10, 20 30 and 40mm. And we have now added a colour option; either the iconic Renthal AluGold hard anodised or the all new black hard anodised finish.

MSRP – £69.95 / $84.95

Fatbar 35 and Fatbar Lite 35 Black Hard Anodised Option

To co-ordinate with the launch of the version 2 Fatbar and Fatbar Lite, we have now added a hard black anodised option to the Fatbar 35 and Fatbar Lite 35 range.

In addition to our iconic AluGold hard anodised finish, this new option offers the same super durable finish achieved with the hard anodising process.

MSRP – £69.95 / $84.95
