It has been a hot morning today. Everyone woke up around 7 AM and you could already feel the warm breeze on your face. While some tried to have breakfast as fast as possible, others were still laying on their beds figuring out what time it was. The first day left us very tired but it is impossible not wanting to wake up for the next adventure.

It is 9 AM and we head to La Parva.
Only a few more turns and we will be almost there.
Antonia Wurth is one of the 3 girls from Chile that is competing on this event. Respect.
It is amazing to see Tracy Moseley riding over unknown terrain, although it doesn’t look like that for her. She looks confident and goes full speed.
Fernando Riquelme is the youngest rider of the event. At only 17 years old he placed 9th the first day.
Jerome started the day riding with low pressure on his rear tire. He kept riding and lost all the air pressure leaving him with no air and having to stop to work on it.

Felipe Vasquez was the winner at the Master category.

Florencia Espiñeiro had some mechanical issues on the first day, but this time she rode better and saved some seconds.
It is incredible to witness the speed and bike control of Mark Scott, and let’s not forget his security when riding. He placed first.
Tomorrow will be the longest day. Breakfast will start at 7:30 AM, so we will head out to the first stage called “La Pajarera” around 9 AM, then it will be time for “Boqueron”, “El Arriero” finishing up at “Estero El Manzano” which is the furthest stage of Santiago.
