Shimano and SRAM merge: the birth of SHIRAM

The drivetrain battle is over: starting from today, Shimano and SRAM are one company with headquarters in Perth, Australia. Detailled press release will follow.

Rumors say the 1×13 wireless drivetrain is already in the pipeline and it will be presented shortly. Shiram is also working on intelligent forks and shocks, using Shimano’s know how in electronic and Rock Shox expertise in suspensions.

We have been invited to the first presentation of the new company in June, we can’t wait to see what Shiram is working on. Stay tuned!
