Today Specialized has announced new versions of the Ground Control, Fast Trak and Renegade XC tires. The updates are thorough, with new “T” rubber compounds, plus updated casings and tread patterns.

In addition to the T7 and T9 compounds, there is now a new faster rolling T5 option. There is also the option of a T5/T7 dual compound tire.
As far as casings are concerned, in the XC world there are now S-Works, Control and Grid joining the Grid Trail and Grid Gravity lineup from the Trail to Enduro world.
