Suzuki Nine Knights from 16th to 21st of June 2014 in Livigno

Livigno, Italy will once again become the hotspot of the freestyle scene, when the mountainbike elite return for the second Suzuki Nine Knights MTB from 16th to 21st of June 2014. The Mottolino Fun Mountain will see a one of a kind Super Session, where action sports photographers and filmers will document the athletes throughout the week. The riders will be showcasing their skills on one of the most innovative obstacle in freeriding and progress the sport.

Kurt Sorge (CAN), Martin Söderström (SWE) and Antoine Bizet (FRA) are only some of the invited riders who will put on the show at the Suzuki Nine Knights MTB.

Livigno, Italy, April 4th 2014 –The gigantic and unique setup “Il Castello” features superkickers, massive hips and various other innovative obstacles. “The goal is to combine all facets of freeride mountain biking in a setup that leaves nothing to be desired in terms of creativity and fun factor!” says the host, German pro rider Andi Wittmann.

The contest at the end of the week will reveal the riders who deserve the most glory and honour. At last year’s edition the French pro rider Antoine Bizet landed the first perfect double backflip with a Bigbike and Andi Wittmann reached the spectacular height of 5.6 meters on the hip. Tell Adrian (NOR) repeatedly tried to stomp a Cash Roll with a Fully, we are curious if we will see the trick this year!

The list of riders who have already confirmed looks incredible. We look forward to the comeback of Red Bull Rampage winner Kurt Sorge, the Swedish rider Martin Söderström, who after getting injured in 2013 at the Crankworx and long rehab is highly motivated to throw down some gnarly action at the event. Also confirmed the Frenchmen Yannick Granieri and Antoine Bizet, Anton Thelander (SWE), Geoff Gulevich (CAN) and Timo Pritzel (GER).

A very special event and an extraordinary show not to miss, will take place from June 16th to 21st 2014 at the Mottolino Fun Mountain!
