Gravel, adventure, cross country, downcountry, all mountain, trail … so many names, so many categories that the new Veleno are close to. MET has designed this helmet for those who love to pedal and need a protective, comfortable, lightweight and well ventilated helmet, for those who perhaps have more than one bike and easily switch from gravel to trail, simply having fun pedaling on the road or off-road, without having to worry about duty.
Despite being a helmet aimed at mainly more aerobic disciplines, the shell of the new Veleno MIPS offers generous coverage on the sides and on the occipital area, for greater protection of the skull. The lower edges of the EPS inner shell are coated with polycarbonate to preserve it over time.
The MIPS version, as the name indicates, offers an additional, important protection by preserving the brain from possible concussions due to the rotational forces generated in the event of an impact, thanks to the use of the MIPS-C2 system
The MIPS is suitably shaped and does not affect the ventilation, which is optimized by the 26 air intakes with flow channels that guarantee an abundant passage of incoming and outgoing air.
The visor, minimal but still well pronounced, is detachable, for those who prefer to use the helmet without a visor, especially for disciplines involving drop bars.
The 360​​° closure with gel pad at the occipital support guarantees comfort and correct closure without pressure points. The closure system is vertically adjustable.
