Developed together with the best athletes in each category, XC and Road, Scott’s new Centric Plus helmet will be worn starting today by Scott SRAM Team athletes, Nino Schurter and Lars Forster.
Scott’s goal for the new Centric Plus is to fully meet the needs of athletes in both MTB and Road fields, with a helmet that knows how to combine light weight, ventilation, safety and adjustability.
With its 220 grams overall weight, it is an absolutely ultralight helmet that boasts a weight saving of 30 grams compared to the previous model.
The numerous and wide openings and channels for the passage of air through the entire helmet contribute to its ventilation.
Safety is encouraged by the EPS construction with MIPS system integrated into the padding which ensures protection while saving space and weight.
Finally, the adjustability relies on a 360° Halo closure with micro adjustment and a new rubber coating of the wheel for greater grip and therefore more precision even with gloves on.
