Today, after a years long haitus, Transition is introducing the all new Smuggler. With 29-inch wheels, 130mm of rear wheel travel and 140mm of fork travel, the new Smuggler sits precisely between the Spur and the Sentinel in the US brand’s mountain bike range.
The suspension system has a compression curve with 27% progression. The rear travel can be increased to 140mm by modifying the rear shock stroke.
The new lines, taut and angular, are faithful to the aesthetics of the current Transition range. The cable routing is completely internal and hidden from view.
The Speed Balanced Geometry is aggressive, as per Transition tradition, with specific chainstay length for each size.
There are four versions available ranging from 4,999 to 9,999 euros, while the chassis with shock absorber alone is sold at a price of 3,900 euros. Availability starts from March 2023. Also on the Smuggler, Transition offers a lifetime warranty.
