After an epic week in Switzerland chasing some high mountain trails we decided to head lowish towards Crans Montana bike park and trail area. As a ski resort in winter the summer was when the Swiss realised the potential and developed a bike park. The park consists of three or four main trails, and drops riders down around 800 metres to the station start.
The bike park is well groomed, well maintained, and was well serviced with lifts, which meant no wait time. Once at the top with Martin from Alpine Trails we explored all the different runs and came out with a feeling of being satisfied. The bike park is not the most well known but is looked after well, with some great corners and jumps, each leading to the next without upsetting the flow, strung together we are talking about at least 15 minutes of descent. Each of the trail features were well built by experienced builders who know what they are doing, making for some safe and fun riding.

Overall we really enjoyed our time in the bike park. It was perfect for all levels of rider with nothing too technical or difficult. It fitted perfectly into our days with Alpine Trails in the high mountain passes and gave some welcome fun riding.
