Trailhunter Ep. 1: Passo del Sole, Switzerland

Welcome to the first episode of our video guide! We will show you some  trails worth a ride, giving you the GPX track to upload on your device.

Let’s start with a tour in Switzerland, in the Italian speaking Canton Ticino. The ride starts at the Passo Lucomagno, after a bus ride from Olivone. Bike transportation is free, the ticket costs 12.60 CHF. Get the timetable here. Every bus has 6 hooks where you can hang your bike.

From Passo Lucomagno you will cruise along a (cold) lake and then start the steep and rocky uphill to Passo dell’Uomo. From there on you can pedal to the Passo del Sole, if you are fit enough. Enjoy the view and the loneliness before hitting the super long downhill back to Olivone.

The track has no dangerous spots. Well, it depends on how fast you are.
