[Trailhunter] Jerome Clementz and Ben Cruz On Trail 36, Punta Ala

Mtb-Mag just received from Cannondale a new test rig, a Cannondale Jekyll Carbon 27.5″ to put through it’s paces and use as a base for our up coming tests over the next months. We are currently in build phase but this got us thinking and had us digging through our unseen archives looking for some trail stuff related to the bike and we came out with some previously unseen footage of Ben Cruz and Jerome Clementz cruising down one of our test tracks in Punta Ala Trail Center on their Jekyll’s.

They were using the 26″ Jekyll’s at the time, so it will be interesting to see how it goes on our new carbon 27.5″ test rig. In the meantime we thought we should put the trail hunting video out there of the guys riding down an Enduro trail as it makes a pretty good trail hunter video and as it’s the 2013 Enduro world champion it would be a shame to leave it hidden never to be seen… will we be able to ride our Jekyll test rig as fast?

Our new MTB-Mag Cannondale test rig starting to be built.

That day we didn’t grab lots of shots but it’s the video in this instance that counts as it’s possible to see how smooth Jerome and Ben ride in some rough conditions. It’s all good fun…

Andrea Bruno joined the boys that day ripping the trail.
Ben always rides wide open and often pushes the limits, as one of the fastest American Enduro riders he knows how to ride.
