Trek’s New Roscoe Hardtail

Press Release – [Waterloo, WI] – Trek has released an all-new trail hardtail mountain bike today – Roscoe. With a long-travel fork, grippy tires and progressive geometry, it’s built for getting rowdy on any trail.

Thanks to a complete design overhaul, Roscoe has been transformed from a solid entry-level cross-country bike to a super legit and seriously fun trail ripper.

Big travel

The all-new Roscoe features a 140 mm long-travel suspension fork that gobbles up rugged terrain.

Big wheels

Fast-rolling 29er hoops and grippy 2.6″ tyres deliver a speedy and confident ride up and down the rough stuff.

Progressive geometry

Long reach, slack 65-degree head tube angle, steep 73-degree seat tube angle and short 430 mm chainstays combine for a playful and confidence-inspiring ride.

Trail bike trappings

The new Roscoe has enduro bike features like stiff and strong Boost148 wheels, wide 780 mm handlebars, room for longer dropper posts, downtube and chainstay guards, and ISCG mounts for chain guides.

Flagship Roscoe 9

Roscoe 9 is trimmed with top-shelf parts for avid hardtail lovers. It features a FOX Rhythm fork with beefy 36 mm stanchions, a Shimano SLX/XT 1×12 drivetrain and powerful 4-piston brakes.

Roscoe is available immediately through Trek’s wide network of global retail partners and online at trekbikes.com in select markets.
